AP Specialty Metals, Inc. is a privately held company based in Alpharetta, Georgia and services primarily the southeastern United States.
Having been responsible for serving the company's southeast customers since 1986 for a global steel group and, since 2008, for owners comprised of the same management team, members of AP's sales and operations have unique, local expertise based on long standing relationships.

We are a green company striving to be energy compliant in all our processes.
The quality of our finished products in terms of flatness and polish are the best offered in the business. This is because we have invested in a new state-of-the-art, cut-to-length machine to complement our coil polisher, sheet-to-sheet polisher, plate shear, vinyl machines, bar saw, and fleet of trucks - all housed in a 47,800 square foot (expandable to approximately 120,000 sf), fully-craned processing center located on 10 acres in the southeast region's industrial heart just minutes north of Atlanta.
Our capabilities allow us to compete head-to-head with-much larger competitors, but with a markedly quicker, sleeker operation subject to fewer restrictions. Through the perpetual up and down cycles which distinguish our market, we have been able to build on our decades-old strategic alliances with our suppliers, enabling us to sell our products at competitive prices. We are likewise constantly working to build alliances with our customers, becoming part of their business model by offering our material, equipment, warehousing and logistic expertise in a symbiotic, mutually beneficial manner. Our customer-centered approach is the core of our business model, focusing not only, as our competitors have, on industry recognition but primarily on customer recognition for exemplary quality, service and price.
We serve a wide range of customers including those in the food service, production, transportation, agricultural, chemical, medical, and construction equipment and machinery sectors, providing quality flat rolled products in multiple grades and finishes.
